Fostoria, Ohio — Iron Triangle
CSX, NS and Wheeling & Lake Erie converge at one of the most active rail junctions in the United States.
Stream hosted by Virtual Railfan. Spotatrain links to the original feed and does not rebroadcast.
The Fostoria Iron Triangle is a legendary Ohio railfan location: three lines (CSX Willard Subdivision, Norfolk Southern Sandusky District, Wheeling & Lake Erie Carey Subdivision) meeting at a triple diamond crossing. Trains pass roughly every 15 minutes around the clock.
What to watch for
Watch for double-stack intermodals on CSX, NS coal trains, and the occasional Wheeling & Lake Erie local. Three trains converging on the diamond is not unusual.
Best viewing times
Activity is steady around the clock, with intermodal traffic peaking late afternoon and overnight.
