About this event

The Delmarva Model Railroad Club was established in August 1984 and calls itself Delmarva's largest club for model railroaders. It is in downtown Delmar, on the second floor of Camelot Hall, one block east of the Norfolk Southern tracks.

The club says it has eight different layouts in seven scales: N scale, N scale modules, HO, O tinplate, O scale, Standard and G. The HO layout is the largest and occupies more than 2,000 square feet.

The club says it holds its open house on four weekends of the winter holiday season, and its own news posts include photos and a highlight video of earlier holiday open houses.

What to expect

Visitors see the club's layouts in several scales; the club says its front room holds the tinplate layouts, including a Christmas Thomas the Tank Engine layout. According to the club, various church groups set up and sell lunch items for members and the public during the holiday open house weekends.
