Café com o Noel — Maria Fumaça Campinas (ABPF)

The Passeio de Natal "Café com o Noel" is a Christmas evening for 30 guests in a decorated, illuminated train on the ABPF's Maria Fumaça line between Campinas and Jaguariúna, in the state of São Paulo. The operator says it is offered by Maccari Eventos in partnership with ABPF Regional Campinas, the association that operates the Maria Fumaça and preserves the history of the railway in Campinas.

Guests travel in an original restaurant car of the Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana from the 1940s, which the operator says has been completely restored and is fully working. Seating is by individual seat, table for two or table for four, and guests who book singly or in part are placed in free seats so that the whole car is used.

The operator's programme runs from 17:00 to about 22:30: check-in in a VIP area from 17:00 to 17:30, the arrival of Santa Claus and photos with the children at 17:30, boarding at 18:00, departure at 18:10, arrival in Jaguariúna at 19:30 with free time for food and photos, return at 21:30 and arrival at Anhumas at 22:30. The menu comprises snacks, sandwiches, cold cuts and savouries, soft drinks, juice and water, and a tasting of draught beer, cachaças, liqueurs and wine, all served from table to table during the ride. Check-in is from 17:00 to 17:30; the operator recommends arriving 45 minutes before boarding, and asks everyone to carry a photo ID. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Because the event is closed and includes food, half-fare rules do not apply. Children up to 3 years old are exempt and can sit on a lap; from 4 years old they pay. The operator sells individual seats, closed tables for two and closed tables for four. Santa can deliver gifts as a paid option per child: the family brings the gift to the counter right after check-in, properly labelled. The operator does not cancel tickets, only reschedules: once, by email, if requested at least 48 hours before the ride; after that a 30% fee applies, and a no-show fee of 50% applies to rescheduling.
