About this event

Anten-Gräfsnäs Järnväg (AGJ) is a 12 km long, 891 mm gauge living museum run by a non-profit association. In the weeks before Christmas it runs Tomtetåget, the Santa train. Passengers board the Christmas-decorated Tomteexpressen at Anten station for the trip to Tomten in Tomtebo, where they meet Santa.

The operator runs several departures every day. At the late departure, torches, lanterns, fires and lighting along the platform create what it describes as an almost magical winter-evening atmosphere, and the flagpole at Anten is dressed in string lights. Tickets are collected in the waiting room of the station building before departure, and the operator says a hot sausage with bread tastes good before departure or on the way back.

A paid child ticket includes a Christmas present. Only pre-booked tickets are sold.
