About this event

The Bristol Model Railway Exhibition is held each year around the May Day bank holiday at Thornbury Leisure Centre, near Bristol. It is presented by the Association of Model Railway Clubs Wales & West of England, founded in 1968, in conjunction with Warners Group Publications, publisher of British Railway Modelling magazine.

The association says its member clubs, together with invited guests from around the country, show their latest creations. For the latest edition the association listed layouts from OO and N gauge to EM, P4, O and HO, together with traders and societies and demonstration stands.

The exhibition runs from a Friday afternoon to the Sunday.

What to expect

Model railway layouts in a wide range of scales and gauges, traders, societies such as the N Gauge Society and the EM Gauge Society, and demonstration stands. Pre-booked ticket holders can enter early on Saturday and Sunday.
