About this event

The City of Canterbury Model Railway Society organises a two-day exhibition every January at St Anselm's School, Old Dover Road, Canterbury. The society says visitors can enjoy a range of high quality model railway layouts in a variety of scales and prototypes, together with a good selection of trade and other stands offering model railway products, many of which are not available in local model shops.

The society's website lists the layouts booked to attend its latest exhibition, ranging from N gauge and OO to O, P4, OO9 and O-14 narrow gauge, with prototypes from the Southern and Western regions, north-east Scotland and Welsh slate. The society was formed in its present form in 1988, and its website keeps an exhibition archive of photographs of the layouts that have visited, going back to 2001.
