Hythe is the northern terminus of the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway, a fifteen-inch gauge line that runs along the Kent coast. The station has curved platforms with an overall roof, a loco release road, a former engine shed, a signalbox and a turntable, and is the busiest station on the line for passenger bookings (Wikipedia, "Hythe railway station (Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway)"). The railway itself states it runs "one-third full size steam and diesel locomotives" (rhdr.org.uk/locomotives/).
What to watch for
Trains arriving and departing the terminus, running round on the loco release road, and the signalbox's lever frame at work. Because the gauge is fifteen inches, the locomotives and stock are a third the size of the platforms and buildings around them — full signalling and proper station architecture around miniature trains.
