About this event

The Chemnitzer Modelltage is a model-making show held every January at Messe Chemnitz and organised by C³ Chemnitzer Veranstaltungszentren GmbH. The organiser calls it a highlight for all friends of model making, from classic model railways to detailed layouts and RC courses.

In two halls, clubs, private exhibitors and dealers show their models and exhibits. The organiser says the many model railway layouts in every gauge, with loving detail and realistic landscapes, are especially popular, and that railway fans young and old get their money's worth. A highlight is the RC truck course with day and night lighting simulation, on which remote-controlled trucks, construction vehicles, buses and more run.

The show is completed by hands-on stations such as a driver's cab simulator, dealer stands for model railways, RC vehicles and accessories, and a varied programme for families and children.
