About this event

The Gauge O Guild runs its Winter Show as a one-day exhibition devoted to O gauge model railways. The Guild's show page lists the O gauge layouts, demonstrators and traders booked so far, and a chance for young and more senior visitors to drive a train. The listing of the show on the Kempton Park Racecourse website adds a large test track where visitors can check purchases and see live steam models running, railway societies and museums, refreshments and a bring and buy stand for O gauge model sales, with some pre-loved and some un-started items.

Visitors can also pick up information about the Guild.

The Winter Show is held at Kempton Park Racecourse in Sunbury-on-Thames, which the Guild says is easy to reach from the M25 and M3 and has over eight hundred free parking spaces. The racecourse has its own railway station, which enters straight into the car park, and the Guild lists a direct service from London Waterloo. The Guild also runs spring and summer shows and a show called Guildex.
