Santa's North Pole Express — Grapevine Vintage Railroad

Santa's North Pole Express is a Christmas excursion on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, part of Grapevine, Texas's "Christmas Capital of Texas" season. It is presented by Great Wolf Lodge and AE Texas and starts in the Historic Cotton Belt District, which is transformed into the Grapevine Christmas Market.

Once aboard, passengers are led in sing-alongs by Santa's elves Holly and Frosty while seated in decorated vintage coaches, with a special visit from Santa Claus. The ticket includes Mrs. Claus' homemade chocolate chip cookie and Frosty Chocolate Snow Milk in a souvenir memory mug, and one 4x6 photo with Santa per family at the Grapevine Christmas Market General Store.

Seats are reserved by the bench, and each bench seats two guests. The Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau says tickets are sold only through its official websites and the Grapevine TicketLine, and cautions against third-party resellers.

The excursion departs from the Cotton Belt Railroad Historic District, 705 S. Main St., Grapevine, TX 76051. The railroad advises arriving over an hour early to find parking and enjoy the Grapevine Christmas Market; check-in begins 20 minutes before departure and train doors close five minutes before departure. Seats are reserved by the bench of two guests. Tickets are sold only through the official Grapevine websites and the Grapevine TicketLine. Historic Main Street is closed to traffic on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the Christmas season, and the station itself has no parking; the railroad lists free public lots within walking distance.
