Train-A-Palooza — Grapevine, Texas

Train-A-Palooza is a model train show run by the Lone Star Hi-Railers Model Railroad Association at the Grapevine Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, which the organizer's page calls the Christmas Capital of Texas. The organizer says the annual show draws model train enthusiasts from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Kansas.

Vendors include club members, local hobby stores and private collections selling trains and accessories of all gauges. Several working layouts display various gauges, with train-related toys and sales tables, and a trackless Choo Choo Express gives train rides in the parking lot.

Admission covers both show days and the club's three-rail O gauge layout inside a 70-foot baggage car in the historic Grapevine railyard area, which a free shuttle serves from the TEXRail station.

Working model train layouts in several gauges, vendors selling trains and accessories, a trackless train ride in the parking lot, and the club's O gauge layout in a baggage car, reached by a free shuttle.
