About this event

The Krampusfahrt is an evening ride of the Rhein-Schauen museum railway in Lustenau, Vorarlberg, organised with the Breagazer Bodaseetüfl, a Krampus and Perchten group registered as an association. The operator says the group organises the annual Krampus and Perchten run in Bregenz and puts non-violence first, which the two partners want to show their guests.

A steam locomotive takes the train to the Wiesenrain playground, where Saint Nicholas is already waiting for the children and gives each a Nikolaussäckchen. The Krampus and Perchten group then meets the guests at the Werkhof in Lustenau, decorated for Christmas, where visitors can talk with its members about the club's work, the handmade masks and the furs that make up the costumes.

Back at the Werkhof each child receives a children's punch and a sausage with bread, included in the ticket.
