About this event
The Zanesville & Western Scenic Railroad runs a Santa Train from its station at Mt. Perry, Ohio. The round trip takes about 40 minutes, with a choice of open-air bench seating or indoor padded vintage coach seating.
Santa gives treats and gifts to riders. The railroad ties its fares to charity: a new, unwrapped children's toy in its original packaging or a food pantry donation lowers the ticket price, and the operator states that all proceeds go to charity.
The Santa Train is one of the additional November and December dates the railroad adds after its regular weekend season from August through October.
