North Pole Adventure — Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

The North Pole Adventure™ is the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's Christmas train, presented by Meijer. The railroad calls the 90-minute ride a treasured tradition for families across Northeast Ohio, with guests coming from Cleveland, Akron, Canton and beyond.

On board are festive decorations and cheerful Christmas elves. Passengers sip milk, enjoy a sweet cookie, write a letter to Santa and watch for a possible visit from Santa to their car. The railroad describes decorated coaches and nostalgic holiday charm.

Trains depart Rockside Station in Independence, with a 5:00 pm and a 7:55 pm departure option, and the railroad provides an ADA-accessible car and heated trains.

All trains depart from Rockside Station, 7900 Old Rockside Road, Independence, OH 44131. Plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before departure to pick up snacks and take photos. Free parking at Rockside Station. Restrooms are available in each train car, and there is an ADA-accessible car. Departures are at 5:00 pm (returning 6:30 pm) or 7:55 pm (returning 9:25 pm). Ticket sales are limited to 20 per person, with a member early-access period before the public on-sale.
