About this event

Santa Comes to the Roundhouse is a holiday event at the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum in Sugarcreek, Ohio. Guests climb aboard a steam-powered train that takes them to the Roundhouse, where they meet Santa among the museum's historic steam locomotives.

Once at the Roundhouse, guests can have their picture taken with Santa and take part in a holiday craft. Cookies and hot chocolate are served. Every child guest receives a complimentary gift bag before leaving the Roundhouse. The ticketing page lists the experience as about 1 hour, with a train ride of about 15 minutes to the Roundhouse.

The operator runs the event on two sessions: an evening session, when the Christmas lights are on display at the Roundhouse, and a morning session on the following day.
