About this event
The Southampton Model Railway Society brings together railway modellers of a variety of skills and backgrounds, united in their passion for model railways. It stages its exhibition at Barton Peveril College in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
For each show the society publishes a list of the layouts attending and a list of traders, societies and demonstrators on its exhibition pages.
The society's page gives detailed directions. The college is about 1½ miles from M3 junction 13 or M27 junction 5. Onsite parking fills up quickly, particularly on the Saturday; disabled parking is at the front of the college, on the Chestnut Avenue side, and street parking is available nearby. Its latest page also lists a free heritage bus between Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway stations and the college, run by the Southampton & District Transport Heritage Trust.
What to expect
Model railway layouts, traders, societies and demonstrators over a weekend. The society warns that onsite parking fills up quickly, particularly on the Saturday.
