About this event

Steam Dreams runs this lunchtime tour from Edinburgh Waverley. The train crosses the Forth Bridge and follows the Fife coast towards Kirkcaldy, passing Aberdour, Burntisland and Kinghorn, turns back inland via Dunfermline, then runs along the Forth Estuary on a rarely used goods-only line the operator describes as having stunning views, past Culross and Torry Bay, through Alloa to Stirling and back to Edinburgh via Falkirk.

The operator names LNER A4 Sir Nigel Gresley (60007) as the rostered locomotive. Pullman Dining offers a seasonal carte du jour; First Class is non-dining with a welcome glass of fizz and coffee or tea.

What to expect

A half-day circular tour from Edinburgh. Pullman Dining welcomes guests with a Champagne cocktail, then a seasonal carte du jour and coffee with petit fours; First Class includes a welcome drink, with afternoon tea available for a supplement.
