About this event

The vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs is a heritage steam railway in East Flanders that runs trains from Baasrode-Noord. Its Sinterklaas-Express is the operator's annual visit of the Goedheilig Man to the line, held on a set of weekend days.

Passengers travel with Sinterklaas and his helpers from Baasrode-Noord. The train runs towards Sint-Amands, where the Sint makes his appearance, and then the ride continues with the Sint on board. The operator says Sinterklaas visits all the children and parents on the train, and that the well-behaved children receive a small present.
