About this event

Tweetsie Railroad, at Blowing Rock, North Carolina, turns its park over to a Halloween event after dark. The operator says each ticket includes one reserved Ghost Train ride, the Haunted House, Freaky Forest, trick-or-treating, live entertainment, amusement rides and haunted attractions.

The Ghost Train is a nighttime ride filled with spooky surprises. Younger children can collect treats along Main Street and join a family-friendly dance party, and the Tweetsie Palace Spooktacular is a family-friendly musical blacklight character show performed through the evening. Amusement rides in the Country Fair, Upper Country Fair and Tweetsie Junction stay open, and the Boneyard has the Black Hole and the Warp Tunnel.

The nighttime event is a separate ticket from daytime admission, which keeps the park's Wild West theme.
