The camera stands at the station the operator calls "estação de ZBO" (ZBO being a railway telegraphic code) in Brotas, a tourist town in inland São Paulo state. The operator states plainly that MRS Logística trains — carrying cellulose and grain — run on what it calls "esse ramal" (this branch), and that the camera is its third installation, still in a testing phase.

Brotas' station building dates to 1929, built by the Companhia Paulista de Estradas de Ferro and later absorbed into Fepasa; an independent railway-heritage reference situates the station at km 207.578 of the former western trunk line (Linha-tronco oeste).
