About this event

The Erith Model Railway Society organises this exhibition, which it describes as one of the largest (and friendliest, from what it has been told) model railway exhibitions in South East England, and the second largest in the Greater London area by its own reckoning. The society says it has existed for over 60 years and is friendly and informal, made up of people engaged in modelling railways.

The society's latest listing features around 30 layouts, plus trade stands and society stands, almost 90 stands in all, with demonstrations and static displays. The exhibition is on a single floor, is fully accessible and has a disabled toilet. A sizeable free on-site car park and a large refreshment area with about 200 seats are listed.

The society's own list of past exhibitions shows the January show held at several different venues in Kent and Greater London over the years, so the venue is confirmed on the society's website for each edition.

What to expect

Layouts in a range of gauges and scales, trade stands, society stands, demonstrations and static displays, all on a single floor, with a large seated refreshment area. The society says an Access Statement and the Exhibition Guide are published online ahead of the show.
