About this event
The Monster Express is the annual Halloween event of the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society, which operates from Cloverdale Station. The operator calls it a fun and safe Halloween event designed for the young and young at heart.
The event is a train ride to Sullivan Park, or "Transylvania", and back. Along the way, guests encounter favourite monster-mash characters, witches, werewolves and even a superhero or two. On return, a photo opportunity on the Cloverdale Station patio gives the littlest guests a chance for safe Halloween fun. It is suitable for all ages and takes approximately 50 minutes.
The society is 100% volunteer-run, and the Monster Express is put on and run by its volunteers.
What to expect
A train ride of approximately 50 minutes to Sullivan Park ("Transylvania") and back, with monster-mash characters, witches, werewolves and a superhero or two, then a photo opportunity on the Cloverdale Station patio. Suitable for all ages.
