The City of White Rock streams a view along the East Beach promenade, with Semiahmoo Bay on the left and the railway line on the right of the path. Walkers pass between the shore and the track, and the White Rock pier is visible far down the waterfront.
The City of White Rock operates this camera as one of its two waterfront live cameras (the other looks at the pier). Its own page carries a note that is useful to railfans: "Passing trains will temporarily disconnect the live stream. Refresh your browser as needed."
The camera looks west along the brick promenade. A single track on gravel ballast runs along the right-hand side, behind a chain-link fence, with waterfront buildings and parked cars beyond; the water, a rock seawall and the long pier are on the left.
