Advents-Express nach Nordhausen — Harzer Schmalspurbahnen

The Advents-Express nach Nordhausen is a special train of the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen (HSB) that takes passengers from the colourful town of Wernigerode to the Südharz town of Nordhausen. The operator invites passengers to "experience the Harz in its most contemplative moments".

The ticket includes the ride to Nordhausen, a welcome drink (2 cl), a tram ride through Nordhausen, one mulled wine or children's punch per person, and a visit to the Advent exhibition of the Traditionsbrennerei Nordhausen with a tasting. The operator publishes a separate service description for each year.

Children aged 0 to 5 travel free but have no claim to the services listed. The operator applies no group discounts or free-place rules to its themed special trains, does not allow dogs, and may cancel the train if the minimum number of participants is not reached 14 days before the trip.
