About this event

The Kentucky Railway Museum's North Pole Express is a nostalgic Christmas adventure aboard a historic train that travels to the "North Pole" to pick up Santa. On the way out passengers listen to the sounds of the season. At the North Pole Santa boards and travels with passengers on the way back to New Haven, and families are encouraged to wear their pajamas for the full effect.

Back at the station, families can visit with Santa and take a photo of their child with him in the depot. The whole family can also enjoy a cookie and hot chocolate at the Claus's Kitchen Caboose before the excursion. The ride is listed at about an hour and a half, and a premium seating option with roomier seats and fewer passengers per car is sold as well.
