About this event

The Kentucky Railway Museum runs its Santa Claus Express from the museum in New Haven, Kentucky. The operator invites children on a nostalgic journey to meet Santa while listening to the sounds of the season, travelling through the Rolling Fork River Valley on a historic train excursion. The ride lasts about an hour and a half. Families are welcome to wear their pajamas and to bring their Christmas list.

Before the excursion the whole family can enjoy a cookie and hot chocolate at Claus's Kitchen, and the operator recommends arriving an hour before the train leaves to enjoy it and the small activities available for children. A premium seating option, with roomier seats and fewer passengers per car, is also sold.
