About this event

New Mills & District Railway Modellers holds an annual model railway exhibition each February in the sports hall of the Chapel en le Frith Leisure Centre, on Long Lane in the High Peak. The club's website says the exhibition is held there "as in previous years". The club was formed in 1974 and says its meetings are mainly about staging the annual exhibition.

The club's pages describe an exhibition of layouts and trade stands, and keep galleries of its previous exhibitions and an annual photographic competition. The club says surplus model railway items donated by members and the public are sold at its exhibitions and the proceeds given to Blythe House Hospice, a local charity.
