About this event

The Nottingham Model Railway Society describes itself as a leading model railway club in the East Midlands, drawing its members from the city, the county and further afield, with clubrooms in Mapperley. It runs two exhibitions each year, one in the spring and one in the autumn, which it says feature a wide variety of top quality layouts in various scales and eras, plus trade support.

Its latest listing for the Spring Show names layouts in HO, TT and OO: modern operations on the border between Czechia and Germany, a Black Forest town with a private railway, a British Railways steam-era goods depot and North American freight operations in a gritty urban landscape. It also lists a club second-hand sales stand, a pre-owned specialist, a 3D-printing demonstration and two model shops.

The society says a full show guide is published online shortly before the show and that there are no printed copies.

What to expect

Layouts in a range of scales and eras, trade stands, a club second-hand sales stand and demonstrations, with refreshments on site.
