About this event

The Rogów–Rawa–Biała narrow-gauge railway, looked after by the Fundacja Polskich Kolei Wąskotorowych as a museum line, runs special "Pociągi Świętego Mikołaja" (Santa Claus trains) in December. The operator invites passengers to ride from Rogów to Jeżów, where a bonfire is burning and the railway's catering point serves hot refreshments.

The Santa trains are fully seat-reserved, and tickets are sold only through the railway's own online ticket office. The Santa trains are charged under a separate tariff from the summer trains. The railway explains that it has only two carriages with working heating, which is why it takes seat reservations on its December and winter trains and not on its warm-season ones.

The line has been running for more than a century and today serves mainly tourists who want to discover the countryside of the Kolej Rogowska region. The railway recommends travelling to Rogów on Łódzka Kolej Aglomeracyjna (ŁKA) trains.
