About this event

The North Pole Limited is the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum's family Christmas train, departing the Grand Junction Depot in Chattanooga. The museum calls it a Chattanooga family tradition since 1999.

The approximately 75-minute onboard experience takes place in decorated, heated vintage railcars. Guests enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, holiday storytelling, music and North Pole displays near the depot. When the train reaches the North Pole, guests stay seated while Santa boards and visits each family for greetings and photos.

Traditional tickets include assigned seating, a family keepsake ornament, a jingle bell for each ticketed child and a Santa visit. Day and evening departures are offered, along with premium private-table options such as Santa's Private Car and Elves & Bells.
