Embu-Guaçu, São Paulo — Trackside Camera 2

Embu-Guaçu is a small town in the São Paulo interior whose growth followed the 1934 opening of the Mairinque–Santos variant by the historic Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana (EFS) — a line built to connect the interior to the port of Santos.

This is the second of two Train Cam views of the town (the first, published separately, is framed near the former station). This camera looks along a stretch of double track lined by houses, giving a street-level view of freight movements through the built-up part of town.

Today the line carries freight only — mostly export trains operated by Rumo and MRS Logística heading toward the port of Santos via the Serra do Mar descent. No scheduled passenger service currently uses this stretch.
