Embu-Guaçu, São Paulo — Mairinque–Santos Export Corridor

Embu-Guaçu, in Greater São Paulo, holds a place of honour on the Train Cam channel: the operator states it was the first official Train Cam camera on YouTube, and describes it as the favourite and most-watched of the network among railway enthusiasts worldwide.

Historically tied to the old Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana, Embu-Guaçu is a nerve centre of the Mairinque–Santos branch. The operator describes it as the last major observation point before the descent of the Serra — the drop from the plateau down to the port of Santos, on what they call the largest export corridor in Brazil.
