Kyoto Mukōmachi — JR Kyoto Line & Yard

The camera sits along the JR Kyoto Line between Mukōmachi and Nagaokakyo stations, filmed from outside JR West's property by the channel "Tetsudō Fan no Machiaishitsu" (鉄道ファンの待合室). Behind the running lines is the former Mukōmachi Yard, now signalled as the Suita Rolling Stock Center's Kyoto Branch, which stables the 221/223/225-series sets used on the Sagano, Kosei and Kusatsu lines.

The channel's own notes describe frequent freight trains on the Tokaido corridor (including the electric "Super Rail Cargo" service and occasional flatcar convoys of new rolling stock), limited-express equipment for the Thunderbird, Kounotori, Hamakaze, Haruka and Kuroshio services, the Sunrise Seto/Izumo sleeper, and the Tokaido Shinkansen — including passing Doctor Yellow inspection trains — further back.
