About this event

The Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum runs The Tinseliner, which it calls a Berkshires holiday tradition, on the Hoosac Valley rail line from Adams, Massachusetts. The operator describes festive decorations and joyful music during a journey through the Hoosac Valley of about 75 minutes.

Children can write letters to Santa Claus on board, then meet him and Mrs. Claus in person and receive a special gift. The operator says Santa spends time with everyone on board and Mrs. Claus joins him on most dates.

The operator sells Coach and First Class seats, including a table for four. It notes that these trips sell out. The museum also keeps a station museum in Lenox and runs other seasonal rides from Adams.
