About this event

The Sea to Sky Model Train and Hobby Show is a weekend event at the Railway Museum of British Columbia in Squamish, run by the museum's staff and volunteers in its CN Roundhouse and Car Shop exhibit spaces, where visitors are surrounded by trains of all sizes, including the Royal Hudson No. 2860 and other historic steam locomotives, cabooses and luxury passenger cars.

The organizer lists new and used model trains, model railway equipment, hobby tools and supplies, toys, die-cast models and plastic model kits for sale, with model railway layouts in N, HO, O and G scale, a Harry Potter village, and hands-on activities for children including a remote-control hill-climb course and Thomas train tables.

A free behind-the-scenes guided tour and a mini rail ride (paid, at the gift shop) are offered during the weekend.
