Sonderfahrten zum Bärnsdorfer Weihnachtsmarkt — Traditionsbahn Radebeul

On the Saturday before the first Advent the Traditionsbahn Radebeul e.V. runs special trains of its historic narrow-gauge train for visitors to the Bärnsdorf Christmas market. The operator describes it as a small market not far from Dresden and says it is among the most beautiful in the region.

The operator presents the train as a way to reach the market without looking for a parking space. Its news post says several special trains run between Radebeul Ost, Moritzburg, Bärnsdorf and Radeburg that day. On the same day the regular trains of the Lößnitzgrundbahn run under the tariff of the Sächsische Dampfeisenbahngesellschaft, while the club's special trains are sold at the club's own fares.

The operator expects the green Saxon IV K No. 176 to haul a mixed train of carriages from different eras of Saxon narrow-gauge history. The club is a volunteer-run association that has worked since 1974 along the Lößnitzgrundbahn to preserve historic narrow-gauge vehicles.
