About this event

Valenta Rail runs an Advent excursion called the Křivoklátský rychlík from Praha hlavní nádraží to Křivoklát. The train is formed of the historic T478.1 diesel locomotive, nicknamed "Bardotka", and Bdtn express carriages in their original red livery.

At Křivoklát there is a traditional Advent market in the castle courtyard with handcrafted goods and decorations, food, mulled wine and live music. The JAWA and ČZ motorcycle museum is open all day.

Seat and carriage numbers are sent before the trip, and tickets bought in one reservation keep the party seated together.

What to expect

A return day trip of about 1 hour 30 minutes each way on a preliminary timetable, with time at the Křivoklát Advent market. Castle admission and entry to the JAWA museum are not included.
