Mikulášská jízda — Jindřichohradecké úzkokolejky

The Jindřichohradecké úzkokolejky, the narrow-gauge railways of Jindřichův Hradec in South Bohemia, are run by the company Gepard Express in cooperation with the South Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region. The railway operates two lines from Jindřichův Hradec, one to Nová Bystřice and one to Obrataň, and also organises themed rides.

The railway sells a special "Mikulášská jízda" (St Nicholas ride) as a separate item in its booking system, with its own departures: from Jindřichův Hradec towards Kamenice nad Lipou in the morning and back in the afternoon. The operator's home page names special rides for St Nicholas and for New Year's Eve among the occasions on which steam trains run.

The operator's fare is paid on the train. Seat reservations for the steam trains are sold through the railway's online booking site.

A special ride on the narrow-gauge line from Jindřichův Hradec to Kamenice nad Lipou, sold as a "Mikulášská jízda", with one outward and one return departure. Dogs are welcome and every train has a bicycle car.

Groups of ten or more should tell the operator by e-mail at least five working days ahead; this is a notification, not a reservation.
