Fahrt zum Samichlaus in den Sihlwald — Zürcher Museums-Bahn

The ZMB Zürcher Museums-Bahn, a heritage railway running on the Sihltal line between Zürich and Sihlbrugg, takes its steam train from Zürich-Wiedikon to Sihlwald on Samichlaus Saturday. The operator runs two round trips that day, and the train includes the museum railway's vintage electric railcar.

From Sihlwald station the passengers walk, together with the Schmutzlis, down to the large hall on the grounds of the visitor centre. The Samichlaus is waiting there for the children's verses, the tables are decorated and hot punch is served. Every child with a child ticket receives a Chlaussäckli.

The operator states that every child who wants to take part in the Samichlaus event must hold a valid ticket. The event is organised together with Radio Zürisee, and tickets are sold through Radio Zürisee and the Ticketcorner web shop.

The operator reserves the right to make changes.

A steam train ride from Zürich Wiedikon to Sihlwald, a walk with the Schmutzlis to the hall at the visitor centre, the Samichlaus listening to the children's verses, hot punch, and a Chlaussäckli for each child with a child ticket. The ride goes ahead in any weather.

Every child who wants to take part needs a valid ticket; children aged 2 to 16 pay a child fare, and children under 2 travel free with an adult but receive no Chlaussäckli.
