A panoramic view from the CN Tower observation deck, 350 metres above Toronto: the Toronto Islands / Billy Bishop Airport and harbour, the western skyline, and — when the camera's field of view includes it — the multi-track Union Station Rail Corridor as it curves toward Bathurst Street. This is a general tourist panorama, not a camera dedicated to the railway.
EarthCam operates two fixed cameras near the top of the CN Tower, 350 metres above Toronto; this is the "West View" (its companion, "East View", is published as ca-toronto-cn-tower-east). Observed live on 2026-09-21 (real playback, JS executed): the camera's framing moved between a wide shot of the harbour and the Toronto Islands / Billy Bishop Airport, and a wider composition in which a multi-track rail corridor — the Union Station Rail Corridor curving toward Bathurst Street — was visible alongside the downtown skyline.
The corridor is owned by Metrolinx and carries GO Transit commuter trains and VIA Rail intercity trains, with CN retaining freight trackage rights. As with the companion East View, this is a scenic city panorama in which the railway is one element among several — not a camera aimed specifically at the tracks.
