The depot platform is visible in the live stream, but no passenger train has called since 1997, when Amtrak's Pioneer was discontinued. The building now serves as a museum, and the operator links its visiting page directly. What to watch for
Sherman Hill is the point — this is the west slope, so westbound trains are running downgrade off the summit and eastbounds are working towards it. Coal and grain out of Wyoming share the line with intermodal and manifest. The empty depot platform in frame is its own kind of history: the Pioneer stopped here until 1997, and nothing has since. The operator publishes a Laramie symbol list, which turns the passing freights into identifiable trains.
