About this event

The Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton, near Aylesbury, runs the Panto Express with Father Christmas in the weeks before Christmas. The experience begins with a family-friendly pantomime, Cinderella, in the festive Visitor Centre, followed by a steam train ride from Platform 4.

On the train, each child is visited by Father Christmas and given a special golden ticket. After the ride, visitors go to Santa's workshop to meet Mrs Claus and the elves, where each child can exchange the golden ticket for a gift of their choice.

What to expect

The pantomime runs for about 30 minutes and the train ride for about 25 minutes. The booked time is the time of the pantomime; the train ride and workshop visit follow it. Father Christmas visits the compartments and each child receives a golden ticket to exchange for a gift at the workshop. The Miniature Railway is not open.
