About this event

The Greater Buffalo Train & Toy Show is presented by the Western New York Railway Historical Society, which calls it its largest fundraising event and says it is held twice a year, in the autumn and in the winter, at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. The society's own listing numbers each edition, as a long-running annual show.

The society says the show has hundreds of vendor tables with model railroads, railroadiana, collectibles and new and vintage toys, along with operating layouts, interactive model boats, an interactive Lego area and presentations by the National Model Railroad Association. The society owns two depots, in Orchard Park and Williamsville, and runs a museum in Buffalo, the Heritage Discovery Center.
