Cozad sits on the 100th meridian, the historic dividing line between the humid east and the arid west, and the town makes a point of it. A few miles west is Union Pacific's Bailey Yard, which the operator describes as the biggest in the world at 2,850 acres and eight miles long — which is why so much of what passes here is moving to or from a classification that happens just down the line.

Because Bailey Yard is only a few miles west, you frequently catch trains running light or freshly reassembled. The operator tells viewers to keep an eye out for the Big Boy, UP's 4014 steam locomotive, which works this route on excursions. Left of frame is eastbound towards Grand Island; right is westbound towards North Platte.
