The camera is sponsored by the Center, a redeveloped former Northern Pacific Railroad shop complex now used for offices and events, and streamed on the Steel Highway / Northern Transcon Railcams network.
This camera looks over the rail yard behind The Northern Pacific Center in Brainerd, Minnesota, on BNSF's Brainerd Subdivision at Milepost 118. The site was once part of the Northern Pacific Railroad's shop and yard complex, built around a turntable that grew out of the Brainerd Electric Light Company's coal-fired power plant in the 1880s. The historic shop buildings have since been redeveloped into office space and event venues, still known as The Northern Pacific Center.
The stream is sponsored by the Center and operated as part of the Northern Transcon Railcams / Steel Highway Railcams network, which runs a chain of cameras along BNSF's Brainerd and Staples Subdivisions in central Minnesota.
