This PTZ camera overlooks the point in Marshall, Texas where Union Pacific's Little Rock Subdivision (toward Texarkana/Little Rock) and Reisor Subdivision (toward Longview) meet. It is hosted by the Texas & Pacific Railway Museum at the 1912 depot, an active Amtrak Texas Eagle stop, and shows Union Pacific and BNSF (trackage rights) freight alongside Amtrak.
This pan-tilt-zoom camera is hosted by the Texas & Pacific Railway Museum at the restored 1912 depot in Marshall, Texas — one of two SouthWest RailCams PTZ units at this site (this record covers "PTZ #1").
The camera looks out over Union Pacific's Little Rock Subdivision (milepost 66.7 here, toward Texarkana and Little Rock) and Reisor Subdivision (milepost 351.3, toward Longview), which meet at Marshall. BNSF holds trackage rights over the junction in addition to Union Pacific's own freight.
Amtrak's Texas Eagle (Train #21 westbound to San Antonio, Train #22 eastbound to Chicago) makes a stop at Marshall, making this one of the few SouthWest RailCams views that regularly shows a named passenger train alongside freight.
What to watch for
Union Pacific freight, BNSF trains running under trackage rights, and Amtrak's Texas Eagle (#21 westbound, #22 eastbound) at the platform.
