Steel Highway's second Wisconsin Dells camera looks down on the Riverside and Great Northern Railway's own depot, where its narrow-gauge tourist trains switch past a red-and-green engine house and a water tank. A separate Steel Highway camera at the same site instead points at the CPKC main line nearby.
The Riverside and Great Northern Railway is a narrow-gauge heritage tourist railroad installed in 1952 on the former right-of-way of the La Crosse and Milwaukee Railroad near Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. This Steel Highway camera looks down from a height on the railway's own depot grounds: a wye switch where trains reverse direction, a water tank, and a brick walkway lined with benches for waiting passengers.
The same operator runs a second, separate camera at this site aimed instead at the CPKC main line (the former Milwaukee Road), published as a different Spotatrain record. Wisconsin Dells' Amtrak station, a few blocks away, is served daily by the Borealis and the Empire Builder.
