About this event

The Blackstone Valley Polar Express is produced by the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, a nonprofit organization, and boards at the historic Blackstone Valley train station at One Depot Square in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.

The operator describes a 90-minute ride with singing, games, a reading of the classic children's story and a visit from Santa. The conductor punches every golden ticket, passengers are served hot chocolate and a cookie, and each child receives a silver bell, the first gift of Christmas.

The operator says the train cars are small, ranging from 32 to 88 seats, which keeps the experience intimate.
