About this event

The Klub přátel železnic Českého ráje, a volunteer railway club from Turnov, runs two nostalgic steam trains from Turnov station along the Jizera river for the St. Nicholas season. The operator says Mikuláš and his party are looking forward to all the good children.

In the morning an "Andělský expres" (Angel Express) runs from Turnov to Malá Skála and back; after lunch a "Čertovský expres" (Devil Express) runs from Turnov to Mnichovo Hradiště and back. Both are hauled by steam locomotive 310.0134, which the club calls "Babička" (Grandma). The operator names MBM rail as the carrier of the trains.

What to expect

A steam-hauled nostalgic ride from Turnov with a visit from Mikuláš and his party: the morning Angel Express to Malá Skála, or the afternoon Devil Express to Mnichovo Hradiště, each returning to Turnov. The Angel Express calls at Dolánky and Malá Skála; the Devil Express at Příšovice, Loukov u Mnichova Hradiště, Březina nad Jizerou and Mnichovo Hradiště.
