About this event

The Spooky Halloween Special is Llangollen Railway's family Halloween day. The operator says the railway is transformed for the day, with spooky decorations on board its trains and across all of its stations, and plenty of Halloween atmosphere for little ghosts, witches, monsters and their grown-ups.

Spooky Trains run through the day between Llangollen and Corwen, stopping at all stations, on a journey through the Dee Valley. Costumes are very much encouraged. A Halloween activity pack can be added at checkout.

What to expect

A Halloween journey through the Dee Valley on decorated trains, with decorated stations and a family atmosphere. Come in your best Halloween costume. The operator doesn't publish a programme beyond the decorations, the costumes and the activity pack.
